Ecodesign: More, X2Chair and 2Onde in Dubai Future Green 2011 During the 2nd edition of Future Green, one of the major events showcasing the new eco-trends in Dubai, designer Giorgio Caporaso in partnership with LuSSi Design will present part of their eco-friendly and 100% recyclable furniture collection. Future Green is an initiative that was successfully launched in 2010 in Dubai and a large number of local companies active in the region have already confirmed their attendance, as well as leading environmental organizations such as the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD) and the Emirates Wildlife Society (EWS-WWF). The event is also supported by DEWA, Dubai Municipality and the Environmental Centre for Arab Towns. The venue for the 2011 edition will be Dubai Marina Mall, the popular lifestyle shopping destination for residents of the Dubai Marina and New Dubai community, but at the same time a modern structure adopting sustainable practices aimed to reduce the environmental impact of commercial activities. After the successful launch of the new chaise-longue "2ONDE" (designed by Giorgio Caporaso) at INDEX exhibition in Dubai, the same will be placed on permanent display in the mall. |
